Online alarm clock and time tools
Choose the right clock for the job
AlarmClock.live provides free browser tools for a time of day, an elapsed duration, or a work session. No account is needed. These tools depend on your browser and device staying awake; they cannot wake a sleeping computer or replace a dependable backup alarm.
- Full alarm clock: choose a time, label, sound, and snooze settings.
- Countdown timer: enter 1–999 minutes and start a single countdown.
- Stopwatch: start, pause, resume, and reset elapsed time.
- Pomodoro: start a 25-minute session, then manually switch to a five-minute break.
- World clocks: compare your local time with five cities.
- Basic alarm and sound test: arm the next occurrence of a selected time and stop its repeating tone.
Before you leave an alarm running
- Check your device time and time zone. A browser alarm follows that clock.
- Choose a built-in sound first, preview it, and check the system volume and selected speaker. A connected headset can route sound away from you.
- Set a test alarm one minute ahead. Leave the device in the same position and browser state you intend to use.
- Keep the tab open and prevent device sleep. If the test fails when the screen locks, use a native alarm rather than relying on that browser setup.
- For an important appointment or wake-up, set an independent backup alarm.
If you see an alert but hear nothing
Try the sound test after clicking or tapping the page. Browsers can require an interaction before allowing audio. Check tab mute, media volume, and Bluetooth output separately. If a built-in sound works but an uploaded recording does not, reselect the file and preview it again. Third-party video or streaming services may need a network connection or their own playback interaction.
What is remembered?
The full alarm editor stores core settings in this browser. Uploaded media and recordings are temporary and should be tested again after a reload. The standalone timer, stopwatch, Pomodoro, and basic alarm do not preserve an active session across a reload. They are not a background alarm service. See the privacy details before using shared devices.
